For perspective, I began my remodeling career in 1990 as a journeyman carpenter and worked in some of the most demanding code environments in the country; in the NC coastal estates where construction codes are designed to withstand the ocean's wrath. Now, these renovations and additions were anything but “casual living” environments. They were high-design interiors managed by fussy Interior Designers and homeowners that have a refined palate - so attention to detail scrutiny was a daily regimen. This level of constant refinement brought me to working with the top remodelers in the state and hence their craftsmanship was instilled in my psyche.
